Although I am no doctor and I only have a bachelor's degree in nutrition, I dare state the following because I have sound evidence. I would only recommend the fish. With the other items (red meat, egg yolk,...), yes you'll increase your dopamine level but you are also going to have a problem with your cholesterol if you don't limit them in your diet. They will increase your risk of heart disease and diabetes. I would think the risks of frequently eating red meats and egg yolks outweigh the benefit (especially for those with family history of cardiovascular disease, diabetes,...)

Red meat and eggs are OK in moderation. They contain nutrients not available from any other source, and current research shows that cholesterol is not the villian.

Omega 3s are good for anything brain related - so eat salmon or walnuts.

But, a balanced diet in general with plenty of fruits and vegetables will help beat depression. Many times depression is caused by lack of nutrition.

Eat a huge salad full of great veggies and see if you don't feel better.
